My Story

Alexis is the founder of Alexis Cascone Nutrition, LLC, a nutrition consulting practice based out of Central Connecticut. As a Registered Dietitian and Certified Lactation Counselor, Alexis provides a roadmap to her clients and helps them nourish themselves with nutrient dense foods while making peace with their body. Alexis practices health at every size and body weight inclusivity within her practice.

Alexis graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and earned a master’s degree in nutrition from the University of Connecticut in Health Promotion and Health Psychology. Alexis has worked in various inpatient, outpatient, and mental health facilities. Alexis has also trained with Monash University on the low FODMAP diet for patients with irritable bowel syndrome.

Alexis is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

The Philosophy

Alexis Cascone Nutrition was started after the birth of my son - I recognized the support that was needed for new Mama’s to take care of themselves and their littles. My goal for our visits is for you to feel supported, educated and empowered in how you are feeding yourself or your child.

Feeding yourself and your child doesn’t need to be something else to stress over.

My practice focuses on the nutritional health and wellbeing of you. Your nutritional health is interconnected with your mental and physical health, my job is to make feeding yourself simpler.
